TRANSPORT TO ROKANSAARI
Embark on a journey with Rib Saimaa to enjoy the breathtaking paradise island of Rokansaari in the middle of Lake Saimaa, complete with sandy beaches and hiking trails. Accessible only by boat, the trip to Rokansaari is fast and safe aboard our Rib boat. Spend a perfect summer day on this dream island!
Rokansaari also features trenches dug into the sandy ground during World War I and a Stone Age settlement site. The island's recreational harbor includes a summer café, rental cottages, two saunas, and campfire sites. With plenty to explore, sandy beaches, and hiking trails, Rokansaari offers something for everyone.
The Rokansaari recreational area is owned by the Saimaa Recreational Area Association. At the harbor, you’ll find a Saimaa Geopark information board detailing the area’s geology, island services, and visitor etiquette. Facilities include a campfire site, dry toilets, and a waste disposal point. The destination is also family-friendly.

Departures
From Puumala harbor: Saturdays and Sundays at 11:15, from late June to mid-September.
Return: Departure from Rokansaari at 15:30.

Adults: €40 (min. 4 and max. 12 passengers)
Children (4–16 years): €15
Children 3 years and under: Free
The price includes boat transport, life jackets, wind- and waterproof deck jackets, and flotation suits for rainy weather.
Overnight Option:
If you wish to stay overnight from Saturday to Sunday, departing Saturday at 11:15 and returning Sunday at 15:30, select a Saturday round-trip ticket and mention your return on Sunday in the additional details. Otherwise, same-day return is assumed.
