These terms and conditions of purchase may differ substantially from the general terms and conditions of package travel.
Booking
General conditions
- Prices shown in the online store are subject to VAT.
- We sell products and services to competent individuals of legal age.
- We reserve the right to change prices.
- The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
- It is the customers’ responsibility to familiarize themselves with the description and instructions of the product they have booked as well as the conditions related to the booking.
- The booking made by the customer is binding when the booking confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer.
- The customer pays for the booking in accordance with the chosen payment method and in accordance with the terms of the payment method.
- The booking system sends a booking confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.
- Visit Mikkeli is not responsible for a failed booking. In such case, the customer must contact Visit Mikkeli immediately to rectify the situation.
Cancellations and changes
- The cancellation date is the date on which Visit Mikkeli is informed of the cancellation.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in time.
Complaints
- Any complaints must always be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.
- The trader endeavors to process the complaint as quickly as possible, but no later than within one month.
- If the customer and the trader do not reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disuputes Board.
Conclusion of contract
- A binding contract for the transaction takes effect when the booking is confirmed (booking confirmation)
- The booking confirmation will be sent to the customer by e-mail.
- The booking confirmation serves as a travel ticket for transportation and day trips.
Cancellation and return of purchase (individual products)
- Individual products have a 14-day right of return under the Consumer Protection Act.
- The right of return is valid only if the product is in the same condition as the original.
- Any product packaging must also be salable.
- Contact Visit Mikkeli for more detailed return instructions.
- The right of return does not apply to engraved or other individual products, accommodation services, restaurant services or other leisure services and day trips agreed to be organized at a specific time.
- The customer is responsible for the normal costs due to the return.
Product warranty
- For individual products, we comply with the warranty conditions specified by the manufacturer or importer.
Terms of payment
- The trader uses reliable and secure payment intermediaries in its services.
- The trader does not store bank contact or credit card information at any time.
- The customer commits to complying with the terms and conditions of the chosen payment method.
- If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of booking, the trader will not process the booking.
