Summer Trip to Rokansaari in the Puumala Archipelago

Sink your toes into fine sand, listen to the silence, and feel the nature. The lovely sandy beaches of Rokansaari are perfect for a family swimming trip. You can stay longer on Rokansaari or visit Pistohiekka with us. At the Pistohiekka Resort restaurant, you have the opportunity to enjoy local flavors. This full-day trip to Rokansaari and Pistohiekka in the Puumala archipelago is organized on the following Wednesdays of odd weeks: 4.6., 18.6., 27.8., and 10.9.

Schedule of the trip

9:00 AM Departure from Mikkeli Travel Center
9:05 AM Departure from Mikkeli Market Square charter bus stop. If necessary, the bus will drive to Puumala harbor via Pistohiekka, Pistocamp, and Sahanlahti.
11:00 AM Departure for the cruise on M/S Kaunis Veera
12:00 PM Arrival at Rokansaari. The shared visit time on Rokansaari is about 30 minutes.
NOTE! If you wish, you can stay longer, in which case the visit time on Rokansaari is about 4 hours (pickup time around 4:00 PM).
12:30 PM Departure towards Pistohiekka
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Visit to Pistohiekka
4:05 PM Cruise from Rokansaari, arriving no later than 5:00 PM.
5:15 PM Return trip by bus to Mikkeli. The excursion bus will stop at Sahanlahti and Pistohiekka if necessary. We will arrive in Mikkeli around 6:40 PM.
